Community Management
GawkBox
GawkBox was a gaming-adjacent startup that provided audiences new and unique methods of donating to their favorite content creators. By playing games, completing challenges, and working as a community, audiences using GawkBox could accrue meaningful support for their favorite streamers and YouTubers.
During my time at GawkBox, it fell on me to keep our ever-growing community informed and excited about our updates and developments. Through our Discord community, I was able to bridge the gap between the company and our users by becoming the mouth piece of the organization. Through videos, blogs, and regular events and posts in our Discord community, I was able to effectively distribute announcements, live engagements, and product support.
Here are some thoughts from some of the content creators I've worked with.

The GawkBlog

Attempting to keep a massive user base consistently informed through only email-based updates became quite difficult, as readers didn't have access to old updates for context. As a solution, I started up the GawkBlog to allow users to follow the story of GawkBox as we grew and progressed.
Video
Keeping hundreds of thousands of users informed and engaged is a difficult task. During my time at GawkBox, I constructed a rudimentary recording studio to create videos to solve those problems. Here are some examples of the interviews, tutorials, and updates that I created.
